How much does Lightning Lane cost at Walt Disney World?
There is no set Lightning Lane cost at Walt Disney World® Resort. Disney sets a per-person price by the date, the park, and the pass type. The exact prices for your trip show up in the My Disney Experience app up to 21 days ahead.
Getting a Lightning Lane pass is always a choice, because your park ticket covers every ride through the standby line. What a pass buys is a shorter line at selected attractions. Disney sells three passes, and each sets its Lightning Lane price in its own way:
- Lightning Lane Multi Pass. You pay one price per person for the day, and it covers a long list of rides in one theme park. Prices vary by date and by park.
- Lightning Lane Single Pass. Each park keeps a top ride or two off the Multi Pass list, like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Disney sells each one on its own, with a per-person price set date by date. You can buy up to two per day.
- Lightning Lane Premier Pass. One price per person covers every Lightning Lane ride in one park for the day. It covers the most rides, so it costs the most of the three.
All three prices move with the calendar. The same park costs more during a holiday week than during a slow week. You also pay tax at checkout.
How much is Lightning Lane for your whole trip? Multiply the per-person price by the size of your group, then by your park days. Every guest who rides needs their own pass.
You pay in full when you book. Guests at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel can buy seven days before check-in. All other guests can buy three days before their park day. Both windows open at 7 a.m. Eastern.
