When can you book Lightning Lane passes?
Guests at a Walt Disney World® Resort hotel can book Lightning Lane passes seven days before check-in. The window covers every park day of the stay, up to 14 days. All other guests can book three days before their park day. Booking opens at 7 a.m. Eastern in the My Disney Experience app.
How far in advance can you book Lightning Lane passes? That depends on where you stay:
- Disney Resort hotel guests. Your window opens seven days before check-in and covers your whole stay. The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve, and Shades of Green® Resort share this window.
- All other guests. Your window opens three days before your park day. A date-based ticket opens booking for every day on the ticket at once. Annual Passholders also book three days ahead.
Link park tickets in the app before your Lightning Lane booking window opens. The same windows cover Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Lightning Lane Single Pass, and Lightning Lane Premier Pass. If passes remain, you can also buy them on the day of your visit.
One adult can book for a party of up to 20 people. Everyone needs to join the Family & Friends list in the app first. Prices for each date post up to 21 days ahead, so you can see costs before your window opens.
